Last updated: 11 October 2026

At Saintarini Fine Jewelry, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to cancel an order, return an item or report a problem with your jewellery, please contact us using the details below.

This policy explains our returns and refund procedures for online purchases. It does not limit or replace any consumer rights that apply under Irish or European Union law.

1. Change-of-mind cancellations and returns

For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify us that they wish to cancel their purchase, without giving a reason.

If an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins when the final item is received. Different rules and exceptions may apply in particular circumstances.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

To notify us, email HouseSaintarini@outlook.com with your order number, the item you wish to return and a clear statement that you wish to cancel your purchase. Where available, you may also use the electronic cancellation function provided through our online store.

You do not need to wait for our approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right. We may contact you to acknowledge your request and provide practical return instructions.

2. Condition of returned jewellery

For a change-of-mind return, please take reasonable care of the jewellery while it is in your possession.

Where possible, return the item with its original packaging, jewellery box, pouch and any accessories supplied.

You may handle an item to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would when examining it in a shop. You may be liable for a lawful reduction in the refund if handling goes beyond what is necessary and diminishes the item’s value.

Original packaging, tags or presentation materials will not automatically be treated as conditions for exercising statutory rights.

Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the appropriate return instructions. Contacting us first does not remove your statutory cancellation rights.

3. Return postage and delivery charges

For eligible change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided this responsibility was communicated before the purchase. If we agree to pay those costs, we will confirm that arrangement.

If you cancel an eligible online purchase under the statutory withdrawal rules, we will reimburse the original standard delivery charge where required by law.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, such as Express delivery, we are not generally required to reimburse the additional cost above the least expensive standard delivery option offered.

For faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, we will handle return costs in accordance with the applicable consumer law. Where the law requires us to bear those costs, you will not be required to pay them.

Please do not send jewellery to an unconfirmed address.

4. Refund processing

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase, we will reimburse you without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, generally no later than 14 days after we are informed of your cancellation.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund-processing fee.

The amount refunded will reflect the applicable legal requirements, including the treatment of delivery charges and any lawful deductions.

For refunds relating to faulty goods, incorrect items, delivery failures or other statutory remedies, we will follow the requirements applicable to the particular circumstances.

Bank and payment-provider processing times may affect when a completed refund appears in your account.

5. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed jewellery

Your statutory rights apply if jewellery is faulty, damaged before delivery, incorrect or does not match its description or the terms of your purchase.

If you experience a problem, contact HouseSaintarini@outlook.com and provide:

  • Your order number.
  • The name of the item.
  • A description of the problem.
  • The date you received the item.
  • Photographs or other supporting information, if available.

Photographs can help us understand the issue, but they are not a blanket requirement for exercising your statutory rights.

Under Irish consumer law, eligible goods that do not conform to the contract may qualify for the short-term right to terminate within 30 days of receipt. Where that right applies, you do not have to accept a repair or replacement instead of a refund.

After the initial 30-day period, you may still have rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or termination and a refund, depending on the circumstances and the applicable law.

Where a remedy is required, we will provide it in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements and without imposing unlawful costs or unreasonable inconvenience.

We will assess reported problems fairly. We will not automatically assume that a fault was caused by the customer.

6. Custom, personalised and bespoke jewellery

Saintarini Fine Jewelry may offer personalised or bespoke jewellery, including items created to a customer’s specifications.

Under applicable consumer law, the right to withdraw from an online purchase may not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

However, not every item made after an order is placed is automatically exempt. The treatment of engraving, resizing, standard selectable options and bespoke commissions depends on the particular product and the applicable legal requirements.

Where an exception applies, we will provide the relevant information before the purchase is completed.

Personalisation does not remove your statutory rights if the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

If a bespoke order involves a deposit, advance payment, agreed specifications or a particular production schedule, the relevant quotation or order confirmation will set out those terms before the order is accepted. Any deposit or cancellation arrangement remains subject to applicable consumer law.

Please review your agreed specifications carefully before confirming a bespoke order.

7. Hygiene-related exceptions

Certain sealed goods may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where they are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery, provided the legal requirements for the exception are met.

This exception does not apply automatically to every jewellery product.

We will assess any claimed exception according to the specific product and applicable law. It does not remove statutory remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods.

8. Damage, wear and tear and product care

Jewellery should be handled and maintained in accordance with any care instructions supplied with the product.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and damage resulting from misuse are different from defects that existed when the goods were supplied. The appropriate remedy depends on the cause of the problem and the applicable law.

If we believe a reported problem resulted from accidental damage, misuse or normal wear rather than a defect or failure to conform to the contract, we will explain the basis for that assessment.

We will not use this section to exclude a consumer’s statutory rights or to presume that a reported fault is the customer’s responsibility.

9. Delivery delays, missing parcels and incorrect deliveries

Our currently configured delivery options are:

  • Ireland Standard: Free delivery, estimated transit time of 3–5 days.
  • Ireland Express: €10, estimated transit time of 1–2 days.
  • International delivery: €17 for the configured destinations; a fixed transit estimate is not currently specified.

These are delivery transit estimates and do not independently confirm the time needed to prepare or manufacture an order. Any applicable preparation period or specific delivery commitment communicated at purchase must also be considered.

If your parcel has not arrived, appears to be missing or contains the wrong item, contact HouseSaintarini@outlook.com with your order number and the relevant details.

We will investigate the issue and communicate the available next steps.

We remain responsible for meeting our legal obligations as the retailer. Courier delays do not automatically remove your rights.

Where goods are not delivered by the agreed date, or within the applicable legal delivery period, you may have rights to require delivery within an appropriate additional period or to terminate the contract and obtain a refund. Exceptions may apply, including where delivery by a particular date was essential or the applicable law otherwise permits termination.

We will not treat an unverified replacement delivery date as agreed by the customer.

10. Sale items and promotional purchases

Sale prices, promotional discounts and high-value purchases do not automatically exclude statutory consumer rights.

Eligible change-of-mind cancellation rights continue to apply to discounted online purchases unless a lawful exception applies.

If a specific defect or difference was clearly disclosed before purchase and the customer expressly accepted it, statutory remedies relating to that disclosed defect or difference may be limited as provided by law. This does not remove rights concerning other faults or discrepancies.

11. Exchanges and gift returns

Any voluntary exchange or extended gift-return arrangement offered by Saintarini Fine Jewelry will be subject to the terms communicated for that arrangement.

A voluntary exchange or goodwill offer is separate from statutory cancellation and faulty-goods rights.

Unless we expressly advertise an additional exchange or gift-return arrangement, customers should contact us to discuss their request. Nothing in this section restricts rights that apply under consumer law.

12. International orders

International orders are subject to the delivery terms presented at checkout and any mandatory consumer protections applicable to the transaction.

Depending on the destination, import duties, taxes or other charges may apply. Any applicable charges and responsibility for paying them should be communicated before purchase where required.

Customers should contact us before returning an international order so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

International shipping or a customer’s location does not automatically remove statutory consumer rights.

13. How to contact us

For cancellation requests, return enquiries, faulty-goods complaints, delivery issues or refund questions:

Saintarini Fine Jewelry

Email: HouseSaintarini@outlook.com

Please include your order number and explain the reason for your enquiry so we can identify the relevant procedure.

We aim to respond as promptly as reasonably possible and will handle requests in accordance with applicable consumer law.

14. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

If a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection requirement applicable to your purchase, the mandatory legal requirement takes precedence.

We may update this policy when our business procedures or applicable legal requirements change. Any update will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued under an existing purchase.
